	CELEBRATING PARADISE SAVED, EDC's Annual Benefit & Auction SAVE THE DATE: June 3, 2012 The annual benefit and Environmental Hero Award presentation is EDC’s largest and most successful fundraiser of the year held outside at Rancho La Patera & Stow House in Goleta.  Guests join us for live and silent auctions, hors d oeuvres, wine, beer and in honoring EDC's environmental heroes. 	Ride on the Wild Side: EDC's 2nd Annual Benefit Bike Ride Was on October 9th On October 9th, 2011, about 200 people joined EDC for our 2nd Annual Ride on the Wild Side. This year we partnered with Compete Green to hold a ride suitable for families, casual riders, and serious cyclists. We had three lengths of rides, allowing participants to enjoy beautiful mountain and ocean views while visiting some of the local landscapes EDC has worked to protect.
