They provide much-needed recreational opportunities and renew our spirits. Ensuring access to our public lands is essential to maintaining our connection to nature. EDC works to preserve and enhance public access where it is consistent with resource protection. Our objectives are to: maintain historic public access; defend and promote access to public lands; ensure that new development does not impair public access; and ensure that public access does not affect sensitive natural resources.
